About Us

Growing up in Northern Ontario, Canada means we have spent most of our time outdoors “up the cabin”. In the summer you can catch us soaking up the sun and jumping in the lake and in the winter, you’ll find us ice skating on frozen ponds and going on long snowshoe hikes through the fresh snow in the forest. We’ve travelled the country to take in all Canada has to offer and explore nature’s gorgeous sites and enjoy the crisp fresh air. For all of these adventures, we can guarantee one thing: our dog was always there!

Our Purpose

As dog lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, we know that outdoor adventures and dog travel requires planning and necessary supplies, and since the health and safety of your four-legged friends is so important, we believe these shouldn’t stop dog lovers from sharing experiences with their dog! Through our love of the outdoors and all things dog, we wanted to extend our knowledge and passion to our fellow dog lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, and that’s how North40Paws was created!

We are a family-owned company that provides high quality outdoor dog gear and accessories to those looking to adventure safely and confidently with their dog! Our goal is for all dogs and dog lovers to experience outdoor play, adventure, and travel, without compromising safety and comfort.
